Skiing without a helmet

ok but 4 real, i don't use a helmet mostly because my helmet hurts. i should get a new one. are Giro helmets good? but tbh i don't think that helmets are the most important thing. if there is one place i hurt on my body it's my hip and knees.
Not wearing helmet is kinda +rep some places as well

I don't wear one because one day I hope to become a pro skier so I can influence a bunch of impressionable kids to not wear helmets resulting in an increase of brain injuries. This way I can prove there are a ton of lazy/shitty parents out there who think edits are responsible for raising their children correctly.

If the temperature is above 40 then the helmet comes off.

I use giro, its comfy but not super goggle compatable. That could also depend on the goggles you have

I use to do that sometimes but after my concussion I got wearing a helmet, I just think "nah I should just wear it" and slowly put it back on. I overthink a lot so it gets into my head that first run no helmet I'll just smack my noggin or have a close call.

I always wear a helmet. I don’t ski a ton each season, so it prevents me from feeling “invincible”. Going without a helmet isn’t worth the risk to me, but it’s your brain not mine.

Usually the helmet goes on if you are hitting anything bigger than 45. Or are trying somting new

Do be stupid wear a helmet. Plus I prefer a helmet because there comfortable and warm and they have saved me in various situations. Someday your not gonna wear a helmet and just simply catch edge and could get a concussion and be out for about 2 months
