Looking for recommendations for really good Sunglasses

Title says it all. Looking for really good sunglasses that I can put a prescription lenses in.

Glasses will be bought for work in a super sunny continent. Need to be full wrap or blockers on side.

Went to local shop, guy recommended Vuarnet. Not against spending that kind of money but are they worth it?

Any other brands recommended would appreciated.

Same here. But my cheap ass needs good sunglasses for a minimal price.

Never, ever buy sunglasses locally. Go to Sunglass Hut, try on a dozen or more pairs, find which fit, then order online. Stores have ridiculously high markups on sunglasses and the identical ones can be purchased online for significantly cheaper.

From what you're describing (full wrap with blockers) it sounds like you want glacier glasses. Check out Julbo.

I don't really have anything to add as far as brands but sometimes it is well worth it to pay the high price for some quality eyewear. I've got three pairs of Oakleys and they really have held up to some abuse as I wear them both mountain biking and skiing.

I highly recommend buying a pair of prime shades. They're quality shades for cheap and they're mad durable. They're not super expensive and if you use discount codes like JT30 you get 30% off any purchase. Check em out dude

My spidey sense is tingling. Guessing that code JT30 gives JTTrembles here a kickback. With such shady marketing, odds are super good that Prime shades suck more than JT's mother down on the wharf on a Friday night.

Can you not use ski goggles? I feel like they'd provide greater vision, comfort, warmth, and actual peripheral vision. Versus those sunglasses that basically have horse blinders on the sides.

I’m gonna bring goggles but if I’m heavy equipment (which what I want to do down there) I would rather have some good sunglasses and goggles.

Go to LensCrafters and look at their selection. It makes their prescription lenses cheaper if you buy frames from them.
