Idk why but this geeks me out, seems a little mystical
homeboi named nine literally has had an account from the beginning of time and has posted less than once per year.
Old members are dope, they've seen a entire sport progress before their eyes, and are committed/impacted enough to still stay active in the scene. Always saddens me to see old orange names and other skier moving on from skiing.
sometimes i look through old threads and look at all the OG's some of them have up 15k post and they dont even come to the site anymore, pretty sad.
I feel like NS forums are like a form of therapy, doesnt matter what im saying, but im communicating with these random homies about something i love, and I know if i met any of them in person we would probably get along
i remember david lesh's member number being '4' or something stupid like that. he made a thread a few years ago trying to track down a old Virtika prototype suit
Lol @ the time when kids talked shit like they had more prestige because of their post count... as if the more posts they made had contained any form of positive or productive content. I lurked for at least three years prior to getting an account, didn't know what a forum was good for and the edits were just bangbang!
I've been on NS more in the last 6 months than probably the last three years and it's really sad...
I came back for nostalgia, but the people still here make me stoked!!

I'm calling eheath, let's find this person. Longest membership time, 0 posts, last logged in within a month....but what if, the longest lurker never created an NS account and still checks ns to this day? We would never know

I've been a lurker since I was probably too young to have an account without getting ripped to shreds for whatever dumb shit 11 year olds say on the internet. Didn't join til I was 14 and made this account when I was 16 or 17. I have by no means seen the beginning of freeskiing, but got into the sport during the days of bandanas and 5xl jiberish hoodies.

Yeah dude, I've been on NS for over 10 years, and while I don't have the ability to spend as much time on here as I used to (thanks, real world...) it's still an incredible site I love checking out daily. I've made some of my best friends through Newschoolers and my career wouldn't be where it is without NS' help.
