yes very good article, i feel the same way, i work hard to buy my skis, and my gear, and yes i do have pretty nice stuff and im not exactly great at jibbing.

yes you dont have to have good equipment but maybe i want to ride good skis, its gonna help me, and i will work hard to get the skis, clothing, bindings, and what not that i want

I guess i've never ripped on someone for the stuff they ride for no reason. If those skis were just given to them tho, then ya.
I'm lost tho because the start of the artical was about giving preps and spoiled kids a break. And if they are spoiled, then you know the gear was given to them.
