Skis for butter (jib)

Hi,
In my local store is an sale (FISCHER NIGHTSTICK + X 11 WIDE for around 300 EURO )
Are they good for butter, easy spins, etc?
If they are not, can u give me an example which skis are?!

typically, softer skis are good for butters, but i don't think nightsticks are soft skis, seeing as they are a more traditional ski. I've never ridden nightsticks before but i imagine they'd be pretty good for pretty much everything else, including spins. Unless you're really planning on doing a serious amount of butters, I would recommend them

I ski for a long time (more than 15y) but this is my first time buying a "park" skis.
Im looking for some soft skis!

yeah probably. its no big deal though. If you're looking for soft skis, i would advise against getting nightsticks. But are you really sure you want soft skis?

In austria, where i ski, they dont have jump or rails. So only fun is butters and stuff like that.
As i saw stats they are not that stiff, but problem is i only have around 75kg (they selling 172cm long skis)
Are u against soft skis? (if u are,why?)

My opinion is dont buy fischers... my ex coach is sponsored by fischer and i tried quite many of them. And they, i wont say they sucked but for the price you can get much more. Try finding some discount armadas or volkl transfer which is a pretty basic ski just softer.

K2 Domains have a jib rocker. They are really fun to jib around with but they hold themselves really well on bigger jumps too. 2 seasons without any edge cracks, 5/5 would recommend

No, I personally love soft skis and the last three pairs of skis I've owned have all been exceptionally soft skis. But keep in mind that softer skis are more unstable at higher speeds compared to stiffer skis, and stiffer skis are better suited for jumps.

Soft skis =/= good butters

A lot of skis that you see people jibing around on are pretty stiff. It's all about the flex pattern, amount of rocker and camber, your weight etc.

The old line traveling circus were soft as fuck, but their flex pattern was really weird. I could get much smoother and consistent butters on my k2 hellbent than the TC's and the hellbent was a much stiffer ski.

Idk. I always considered them to be more damp then flex. They always felt like they had more flex than they actually did because of the crazy amount of rocker.

Do you weigh 75kg? If so, you are a full sized adult and you can ride longer skis than 172 cm.

Those are kids skis. Do not get them.

Im thinking that i will buy nightstick tomorrow (as score show that its medium flex), what do u think about them?

Blister says the nightsticks are stiff for a park ski. Looks like a good ski for jumps and rails but not so much for pure butters.
Maybe more of a playful all mountain twin tip will be more fun.

Mostly i would say yes. But owning volkl alley kind changed my opinion because those skis are hard as fuck. It acts good on rails and kickers but its bad with grabs. Cant even dream about butters. And suprisingly they dont fail on the track not even ice (but you do have to press a lot)

The old line TC ski is easily one of the weirdest park skis I've ever clicked into. Incredibly heavy too. I did not like. I don't know how my friend sends jumps on those.

I skied the atomix punx last season and they where incredibly fun and soft :)! Ive never really been able to butter a ski since i only weigh 60kg but that one i could! Had so much fun!
