Any opinions or suggestions? I graduated last year with a double major in Spanish and History and now I don't know what to do. Anyone else in this predicament? I'm currently living in Summit County, CO skiing and Keystone, Breck, and Vail, basically living the ski bum life, but I have to figure out something.

Well dude, maybe you should do a little traveling before settling down. Spanish and history eh? Maybe the Mayan coast in Mexico?

If you traveled non stop how would you get money? Traveling is a great idea but would be hard to pay for food

learn about the world before you find a place to settle down. if you're going to be spending a while there (if not the rest of your life) might as well be in a place you enjoy. so, I'd say travel

Keep living the ski bum life I say. Or rob a bank or something.

Man, I'm in the same situation. I'm working towards an international ski instructor cert. so I can ski full-time, year round for a year or two and take time to figure stuff out. My majors were management/economics.

Yeah it's pretty nice but on the other hand I feel pressure to go back to school or start a career. Fuck it. I will say it sure is great to wakeup on my days off an say 'where should I ski today: Breck, Abasin, Keystone, or Vail?' It's easy to feel idle out here because you really arent doing anything with your life. A couple of my friends are ski instructors full time and have been for years and plan on doing that for the rest of their life, but it seems like so much of a joke career. They take it so seriously but in reality, its just a big joke, I got my cert 1 and have worked here for 4 months and I can already do their supervisor positions. Kind of lame, so i don't want to end up like that

Hell, I had no idea what I was going to do after college. It's such a crap shoot sometimes. I mean I live in the Caribbean right now, never pictured myself here after skiing for most of my life, but hey it kicks ass, so I guess I'm saying do whatever you feel like.
