Replying to Has whistler changed much since vail bought it?

I've heard mostly negitave things about vail's impact on whistler (ex it's somehow become even more touristy)

but if if any locals or transplants wanna throw in their two cents of personal experiences on a pre vs post vail whistler then I'm super interested to hear!
