Im wondering if rub on wax is good enough or should I get an iron and everything else. If getting an iron is the way to go, which should I get with my low budget.

Don’t waist your time with rub on wax, comes off just about as fast as it goes on. As for finding a cheap tuning kit, maybe check out some used stuff? If you can’t find anything used, just shop around for the lowest price.

block of wax from local shop - 10 bucks
scraper - 5 bucks
brush - 15 bucks
clothes iron from goodwill - 1 dollar
brillo pad for finishing - 3 pack for 3 dollars

What this dude said. I walked into Walmart and bought a iron for $10. Watch a youtube video on how to wax/scrape/brush and do it yourself.
