nick.schenk.98At least from my experience their warranty process is god awful. I broke a pair of 2016 edollo's the third day I was on them, and I talked to one of their employee's that worked for their warranty department, and he basically told me I wash shit out of luck.
loganimlachThat’s complete and utter horseshit, generally if people aren’t assholes all of the warranty guys are pretty liberal in replacing skis. You gotta understand, we can only send you new skis if it’s determined that there’s a factory defect. If not, the best we can do is offer you a crash replacement, which is essentially our cost plus shipping (we make no money on these). If it’s not determined there was a factory defect (generally delamination or poorly pressed skis) then our factory won’t replace the skis, and we would lose money on replacing your skis. People don’t realize how good crash replacements are.
Gucci, why the fuck did you rip the edge out of the ski after it cracked? If that shit got caught on a box and ripped out, how is that Armada’s problem? We used 2.5mm edges on that model, industry standard “thick” edges. If you hit something with enough force to break that edge, how was that our bad? I get it, you’re bummed your ski broke, but bad mouthing the quality of the skis is a tired approach and will likely get you nowhere.
nick.schenk.98I actually went into the warranty situation really calmly and never said anything bad about the company or to the employee I talked to. We actually had a nice conversation, but I was told I wasn't able to get my money back or a new pair of ski's after they de-laminated and became completely un-skiable after 3 days on them. You could have messaged me personally if you wanted to hear more about my experience with Armada's warranty department, no need to freak out on someone for voicing their personal experience. GET A CLUE!
tdolloUsually once you touch a rail, warrenty won't cover it. Clearly the skis couldn't handle the next level skiing abilities of the gucciman. I'd take it to the supreme court
D3NZ3LI love armada and think the company itself is amazing and they make some of the best skis on the market however durability, especially on dollos, is absolute trash. I have personally seen upwards of 20 pairs of dollos that were completely obliterated worse than any other skis I think I have ever seen. No hate on armada at all but the dollos are just not a durable ski and this should be addressed by armada. When someone is spending upwards of $400 to $500 on a park ski to SKI PARK ON there should not be this many delam and edge issues. I understand that you can not have a ski warrantied after skiing rails because rails will inevitably fuck your skis but most of these issues i see on dollos are not underfoot edge issues but are tip delam issues which is bullshit to anyone buying these skis and needs to be fixed plain and simple
lukromi have three pairs of armada skis and the only problem i've had is the top sheet on all three have chips and chunks missing. idk how people mess up armada skis so bad. also rail are the killer of warranties so if you blow your edge or sidewall out that's your fault. the warranties basically are made for old people who dont ski park just except that you lost money on your skis.
