Modern hellbent

I miss ridiculously rockered, flat underfoot, medium/soft skis, and I’m trying to find the best option out there right now that’s close to something like the old hellbents.

They’ll be my every day do everything park/resort ski. They don’t need to be 120+ underfoot but more than 110 ideally.

First thought is the candies 4.0 or even the new 5.0(feking pricey though) but I don’t like that the 4 has camber underfoot, and I feel like they’ll be too stiff.

Any other thoughts?

Black Crows Nocta is a pretty fun ski. 122 waist, light for its size, full rocker, not as heavily rockered as the Hellbents though. More medium-stiff underfoot, but the tips and tails are quite flexy. They ollie and butter better than any other skis I've ever used. Like any big ski, they're more work in the park, but super fun if you're keeping things mellow.

Surface outsider would be closest in my opinion. Used to have hellbent. I miss them dearly.

$299 seems like a good deal to me if you're big enough to ski 185 or 194?

The Majesty factory is where all Faction skis are made. The quality of there stuff is on point. I’d hop on $299 for a
pair if i needed them

Powabungas or Shreditor 120's. I've got Hellbents and the Pettitor 120's and I'd say they're the closest you'll find. If you want to ski park I'd go with the Shreditors. I rode mine in the park for years. It's a blast riding fat skis in the park.

i love this ski shape as well. New faction candides are much different than earlier years. If you can find a 2014 candide 3.0 they are 112 underfoot and flat camber. A shmeary dream ski.

Agree...have a pair and they're so fun once and a while. So over the top. They have a very weird feel in pow though compared to newer skis...they have crazy pop but seem to plow more than float. I like them though super fun ski to use once and a while

Honestly the pettitor 120. Most of the good features of a Hellbent, less of the bad. For better or worse, but not as super floppy. the camber is nice for hitting big jumps, don't need to carry much extra speed compared to park skis.

Yeah I have three pairs of hellbents. Moment Garbones don't have similar shape at all and are a stiff charger. Go fuck yourself
