bios, corks, mistys and rodeos are constantly being mixed..

and so are tails and toxics.

you grab the tail in a tailgrab, thats why they CALL it a tail grab.. a toxic is closer to the binding, a phil grab is next to the binding. if you grab the outer side, i think that would make it an oppisite side toxic or tail..

corks - if your skis aren't level in a spin
bios - usually refers to a corked spin where the skier is leaning forwards for most of the spin

misty - inverted corked spin, initiated by flipping forwards over your shoulder
rodeo - inverted corked spin, iniated by flipping backwards over your sholder.

it's getting ugly now.

the toxic grab exists only in the minds of idiots who don't understand the concept of tail. blunt is a true tail grab (arguable, that's what i call it if not just a true tail). and if you're grabbing the outside edge of your tail grab, then you suck and should learn to grab properly. it's the skier equivalent of a tindy.

bio= frontside cork
misty= forward flipping backside cork
dspin= backward flipping backside cork
rodeo= frontside cork variation
frontside cork= forward leaning cork (body before feet)
backside cork= backward leaning cork (feet before body)

i hope that settles it.

btw, hamburglar; you're an unintelligent, dimwitted buffoon who asks for an answer without knowing what the question is. oh, and now that you've admitted you wanted the name assburglar, it's just proven that's you're a ring raiding homosexual dickmuncher. plus you snowboard.

i was just using hyperbole. i just don't personally like the name toxic. i think it's much more stylish to grab the inside of your ski edge. it's more tech and allows you to tweak better. that comes down to a matter of personal taste though and everyone one is different. in the end i just dislike the name toxic and am just fucking around with comedic disses just cause it's funny. grabbing outside edge is still cool and looks good, but tech wise it's like a tindy.

the whole backside/frontside cork does have significant meaning. skiing is borrowing most of their moves from snowboarding right? i'm just trying to relate it to a snowboarder's language. think about it and how the trick is on a snowboard and it makes sense.

if we're going to use their moves, we should at least use similar language

I agree I like grabbing on the side.. But both do look stylie, and I dunno you can tweak the tail out pretty hardcore too

there was a cool pic of tanner in freeze this year doing a true tail, the caption said 'tanner is sick of people claiming tail'. i thought that what is being called toxic was a tail. i thought that toxic was another off axis word, i feel silly now.
