360 for me considering it took me so long to land it and it also was a mental challenge. my mind was telling me against it for so long

I did a fs fs blind2 the other day and then a lip 2 disaster transfer my first day skiing this season at a rail jam. Both of those felt pretty good and surprised me. It felt like for so long I really wasn't getting anywhere and then it just clicked

My first rodeo 5. I never thought I'd be anything special but for a skier from Wisconsin that hardly rides I felt pretty proud.

Now that it's been 5-6 years of not skiing at all and just starting to ride again I feel straight up horrible. However landing a 360 safety after my first day on skis in those 6 years really made me feel happy. Yeah it's a super easy trick but I know most people couldn't do that their first day on skis.

I know I'll never be anything special but maybe I won't be embarrassed to ski again soon.

First front 4 I landed. I tried a metric fuckton the season before with no results and finally figured them out the season after.

When I did it felt amazing

Gotta be a 7 or front 4. Or 3 off a decent cliff. 7 was like starting a whole new book in my skiing, I felt like it made bigger tricks seem very doable.

I ski a ton so the basic tricks like 360 and backie come really natural and sliding a rail and spinning off was never a problem. But for the life of me I couldn’t 270 on... once I was able to get that my rail game started improving cause I realized you just have to try and try and try and eventually it comes. It doesn’t feel like jumps where the first attempt seems to go okay.

A good 360 for sure. Not the one where ur arms are like spaghetti in the air, but the one where u are controlled in the air and get a good carve into it. That one particular 3 made me feel so great I hucked my first 7 ever and managed to somehow stomp it first try.

The first time I decided to try a sw rodeo 5 it was literally a couple seconds before leaving the lip of the jump and, to my surprise, I stomped the shit out of it. I’ve never progressed faster than I did that week with the confidence that hit gave me.

First backie made jumps/inverts more doable from only having shaky 3s before hand. Misty 5 and almost 7 made bigger spins and axis less scary. And a K-fed and both ways only tricks

When I started doing rails switch. I know I'll never be even close to pro or even some of the unsponsored rippers in edits on NS, but I hold myself to unrealistic standards for how often I ski and yeah I was stoked.

Backie was a big one, but first 2 pretzel 2 on a large rail (40’ dfd) was really the one trick that stoked me the most and made me think I’m actually pretty good at this, haha.

That's a good question. I think for me, it had to be a 540. I had just learned a 360 like a few days before that and then just said fuck it and went for a 540.. I ended up landing it like my 2nd time and my mind was blown. It made me realize that most stuff is all in your head and whether you're going for a 360, 540, 7, or 9 it's really not much different. Just throw it a little bit harder and turn your head a little bit longer.

In the process of getting snappy 270s onto rails right now and I think 2 pretz 2 is going to be a pretty huge moment for me. It'll be the first trick I'm stoked on learning in a couple years and I think will get me back to the way I used to ski when I was like 14.

First backflip and blind 2 made me realize I could ski in the park without embarrassing myself, and then first dub backie, even tho I didn't land it, got me thinking that most people who ever touch the park can't do that, let alone have the guts to attempt it. Awesome feeling

Front flip was probably the most stoked I've been on any trick cause I was like 12 but I'd say the point where I realized it gets easier and easier was when I landed my first flat 3 on an actual park jump.

60 ft drop to stomp in a ton of pow in front of a big ole crowd. Best feeling ever had on skis. I'm well beyond my park days but stomping stuff like that gets my adrenaline flying
