New wave is the lamest trend in skiing since rocking a du rag as a tail or snowblades.. have you seen some of these kids actually ski powder.. good ski technique is so rare these days.. kids need to learn to actually ski before heading into the park go do some racing , ski some moguls and watch some Adam Delorme videos as reference to what proper skiing should look like.
Masochistic Park rats everywhere can't stand the fact that some people get greater satisfaction from doing a straight air with a grab and swinging their arms like a tango dancer than hiking a feature 100x to learn a tech trick. If you wanna wear a track suit and dance around because it makes you happy, go for it. If you have a problem with new wave kids and wanna shit on them by going huge and spinning like a psycho, more power to you. I don't see the problem here. If you think you're a better skier than "new wave" kids then prove it and let's see the edit

The Bunch posts more than any other ski group account in my instagram feed. sure, some of the instagram clips are goofy and not my cup of tea, but their edits and movies are really fun to watch. If people took the time to watch some of their content, they would realize The Bunch is producing some of the best urban footage of anyone right now. See other thread on the declining number of urban skiers and edits...

New wave is a trend, it'll die once the next thing is handed down to skiing so get over it.
Tons of people hated on gangster style back in the day as well. You can really only pull off an edgy style if you're good enough, as with most things in life.
I'm sure back in the day people wished the gangster wave would die already but look at all the good that came out of it. Trends happen and keep things interesting and progressive.

Man, you're right, it's too bad ON3P hasn't figured out Lucas can't even ski. Hell, Atomic didn't figure it out either, apparently.
Shane McConkey, Micah Black and Mark Abma are some of my skiing idols, but I mean what would anyone other than you know about "good skiing". If you think anyone in this thread thinks New Wave skiers like Magnus or LSM can drop into lines like Hoji then you're mistaken. That being said, they (LSM and Magnus) are still good skiers. It'd be completely asinine not to agree with that.
No, I'm not talking about the scores of kids going out to mimic The Bunch. I know plenty of kids that need to realize that their lack of skiing fundamentals is what's hindering their swerve. What I'm saying is your comment is ignorant and a complete overgeneralization.

New wave and du rags are atrocious, but don’t put snowblades in that category. If jlev hadn’t made snowblades that led to twin tips we would all probably be on slalom skis still and with no Newschoolers.
