What kind of epoxy is best

I use West Systems G-Flex marine epoxy.

Marine epoxy. A lot of people recommend JB Weld Marine epoxy. About $10 on amazon.

I would try JB Weld cause its really strong with metal to wood/plastic bonds. If you're going with epoxy, generally the longer the set time, the stronger the bond. Good luck, skis suck!

JB Weld sucks for anything that isn't filling a void.

For bonding laminated layers, West Systems G-Flex is the best we've found.

Well...it is the best. That size bottle should last most everyone forever too. $10-15 extra so that you have epoxy that will hold you better for longer seems worthwhile to me.

I had a separated edge from the base and used jb weld. Did not seal at all and broke the first jump I hit. Look up marine tex. Also works for really nasty core shots.

West system g flex is good for underfoot repairs/ delams seems to hold through lots of temp changes and is flexy

ive also had a lot of success using the white Loctite marine 2 part that you can get from like lowes or Home Depot to fill voids and edge damage. Still have some volkl walls with a six inch section of loctite for an edge
