Thanks! I'll check them out. Currently I can get the Icelantic Nomad 105 or Moment Deathwish for $599 which is $100 below retail so pretty good deal. Not sure how soft those two are compared to the ON3P's. But I'll see what's available. Do you think 105ish is enough? Or should I move up to 115ish underfoot?

I found a pair of Supernaturals but they're 179's. Turn radius on them are an extra 2m compared to the Kartels mentioned earlier. I figured for some tight tree runs the shortest turn radius might be nice.

I ski at mt hood and 105’s would be fine. Every once in a while such as right now, 115’s would be great but for the most part 105’s are good for all conditions here.

Okay so people are gonna kill me here but if you want to go the Icelantic route, get the 125s. It sounds like a lot of ski, I know, but trust me when I say that they are much more maneuverable and forgiving than the 115s. Their full rocker profile and progressive mounting point make them better than the 115s for floating in powder, tight trees, jibbing/buttering, and quick edge to edge. Having ridden all three, the 105s, the 115s, and the 125s, I'd say the 105s if you just want something a little wider than the suspects that will preform in soft snow or the 125s if you actually want to ski powder and not just have a little wider platform than what the 105s would give.
Also, if you go the 125 route, id recommend the 170cm version if you're comfortable on your suspects at 161. Im currently selling a 180cm version if you're interested but that may be a little more ski than you want if you're just starting out in powder, however, I too am 5'8 (165 lbs tho) and would almost rather get the 190cm Nomad 125 than ski the 180cm version. Longer is better for deep snow and cliffs haha.

105 is more like an all mountain not any new snow today ski for Mt. Hood. When it gets thick and deep you'll benefit from something big with some beef to it. I like my YLEs but sometimes I wish I had something even bigger. If it's pure pow it wouldn't hurt to go 125. Get something 115+ at least.

Wow didn't notice the traffic on this recently since I've been pretty busy at work. But I actually ended up ordering the 105's after a previous comment and a friend my size that rides 105s around the same area too and mentioned that they float perfectly. Just started skiing at Stevens and I think the 105s will be a good ski to replace my Suspects as an all-mountain/better floater in powder meanwhile. If I don't think its enough for the deep pow days I might just end up getting an actually set of full powder skis. Damn I wish I would have seen your 180s cuz I may have hopped on it. Well see how it goes meanwhile!

If I decide to hop on the Epic Pass maybe next year for Whistler, since its a WAYYYY better deal then a seasons just there, I might actually get an only powder ski with a longer length too. Wish I would have seen this earlier though! But I can't go wrong with some Icelantics from what most people say.

Yeah those 105s sound like an awesome ski. Probably a great daily ski and it will float way better than your old skis. I'd like to try out some of those 105s sometime. Yeah eventually you'll want to get more skis and if you keep an eye out you can find some big fat skis for a steal.
