Daffy? Maybe not. Ski Ballet

I don't know how many of you actually may know about this (maybe some older NSers who were alive and watching the Olympics in the 70s), but unbeknownst to me, ski ballet used to be a thing. Apparently, it's actually where the daffy comes from. Here's a vid:

I've never seen it. I mean, the tricks they do are freaking crazy. Triple axle flips over poles? I'd break myself.
