I think there was a case to be made for Ferreira to win the gold, had he been more technical with his grabs. i feel like on a few hits, he was letting go a smidge early. other than that, his amplitude & technicality were pretty insane.

Kinda agree, Wise tossed a crazy run when it really mattered, but I don't think it was 97 worthy only from his huge first hit, just got kinda awkward into the landing. Ferreira boosted every hit like usual, just didn't have the all 4 doubles like wise, which is sick but I'd rather see other stuff personally.

I'm interested in seeing Byron's crash too. Sounded rough. He took the fall in practice runs though, before the actual event. So am not sure what kind of footage there is of that out there. But I'm sure someone had to catch it with their iphone if nothing else.
