Replying to BOOTS: Salomon QST 120 vs Full Tilt Wallisch
I see a 22 page boot thread, not even going in there, hahaha.
I am coming from an older Tom Wallisch boot, jus got Salomon QST 120. My aging self is skiing less park so wanted a mid-range stiffness boot.
First two days in the boot they ski SO different than the full tilts I was in. I feel like they make me stand up way straighter, engaging turns feels much different and popping off tails has me more back seat. I heard from a friend that "ski them hard for a few days" and they will feel different but not sure about that. Anyone have some comments on Salomon boots position being much different than others or maybe my softer old boot was just heavily broken in? I preferred the feel of being in front of boot much more. Maybe you get used to them? Any mechanical adjustment available to make them a more forward position?
Sound off!
