Just checked the forecast for springs, supposed to be 60 and rainy for the next week or two and it’s been this way for a week as well. I know this is just a rough type of thing but 60 and rainy isn’t even close to 30s or 20s. Anyone wanna guess how long we got left unless we have some March turnaround?
Big cool down coming early march...North Atlantic oscillation is going into its negative phase which means it blocks storms keeping them south and traps cold air. Gonna be a good few weeks in the mid-Atlantic and northeast for revive winter
I don't know where OP lives but Seven Springs is my local too. According to accuweather, the highs will be mid 40s and the lows will be in mid 20s for the rest of the month and into March. This means that Seven Springs could use their massive amount of snow making equipment and be able to last until April 1st (when they almost always close the season). Just don't expect any good storms or pow days.

Yea living out here i've accepted that the skiing is usually going to suck... it just sucks that it's this bad in Feb when usually we get some good storms.... I'll be skiing on monday rain or shine

Jack shit in southern NH, a few inches tonight but otherwise people can play in their yards right now. Usually in mid february Im bundled up and the roads have big piles on the side, now people are taking their summer cars for joy rides. Horrible winter so far, skied one pow day so far and had to be up north. Itd be nice to get dumped on soon before it actually becomes spring skiing, cause the mountains will be done before april if we dont get more.
Yeah southern nh is ass now too, I’m moving snow with buckets to try and keep my backyard setup alive. Shits just rough, the mountains are skiing like it’s closing weekend in March or April but it’s barely February
This is really bad guys. Horrible timing for this. Most hills have just wrapped up their big ski school / school ski clubs and such, and they will have little incentive to get things back into shape after this coming week. I think this is the end

Saw the GM skiing under the lift through the solid ice patches under skied out artificial shit and immediately goes "oh my God that's shit!" So maybe he'll fire the guns up while he can, cause its a high of 69 in my town Wednesday so mountains are probably scared, but gonna cool down after. I don't remember the winters consistently sucking when I was younger, never rained 4 times in a winter month, usually would be could just no snow.
Eastern PA is getting like 5-7 inches tonight so that’s kinda good even though it won’t be on the ground for more than a week and it’s also gonna be like 70 degrees on Wednesday so that sucks too

Truth. I'm a senior in hs right now and all throughout elementary and middle school the winters were phenominal, as soon as I got a license and can actually put 20-30 days on snow as opposed to 5 the winters turn to shit.
To all the 7S homies, I was just up today shredding in case it's one of the last "powder" (what you can even call powder in the fucking midwest) days we have. What really pisses me off is they had the spot jumps gated up just like they have the past 5 times I've been up since the spot has been open. Why even spend the time building them??? All we can hope for at this point is late storms in march, and if that doesn't happen then let's hope the snowpack is deep enough that they can whip the spot into something we can throw down in for the next 3-4 weeks before it's officially late spring weather permanently in PA.

Doesnt look like much in my area of the lower half of New England, looks like March has little snow in store, just warmth and rain. Might have to head west a bit early when I get vacation.

8 straight days of 50s and 60s and rain in February isn't unexpected but it sure as hell isn't common. Leave the temps or leave the rain but both at the same time for this long of a period is a kick in the nuts to all east coast skiers.

This isn't normal for february, yes the east coast is always weird in the winter but this is different, we get snow then immediately lose it or have it freeze over. Usually the roads have fucking halfpipe walls on each side but it's been pretty much bare in between storms. I'm about to plan my Utah trip a few weeks in advanced cause I might go soon instead of April.
Its dumping rain right now in southeastern Wisconsin. Rain tomorrow and 40's with lows of 20's for the rest of the week, but hey it was better than last year with 60's and 70's for a solid week and a half. I dont think our season is over yet though we got plenty of snow on the hills.

Touched 69 at work today and I couldn't even laugh about it, suppose to 70 tomorrow but I'm sure Snapchat will say 75-80 by 3pm. I'm not even in a good mood lately because of it, skiings been fun with some fresh snow but nope.
Also forecasted mix and maybe northern snow after tomorrow, fucking New Hampshire man.

Oh it usually occurs where it gets over 50 a few times before snowing again, just sucks cause it's gonna get cool again but with little to no snow, just rain. Hopefully March will bring at least a foot

Haha yeah!! 2 inches of rain, then a tornado, then 4 inches of snow the night after the tornado, all in my town. It was like the first tornado to ever touch down in February in the Pittsburgh area haha.
