tbh he probably could be able to compete fairly well in slope style skiing... I mean grinding sideways on skis is just like 50-50 on a skateboard if not easier and shaun white has the whole spinning thing down. He also can do double corks and has attempted triple corks in the pipe which is mad if anything give him a year and he'll probably learn most of the tricks due to just being a professional athlete...

From what I've read he was pushed quite a lot by his dad (may be wrong on this) and I think being pushed from such a young age results in the corporate machine that he is. If you think about tennis - The Williams sisters, Andy Murray - they all have the same attitude, win at all costs and I feel he's the same way (although they do give back to the tennis community through kids workshops etc). Then you get Red Gerard who obviously loves the sport, grew up being supported but not helicoptered and rides to have fun and puts down sick runs while doing so. Different mentalities from being brought up differently.

Got respect for him but I'm not a fan of his


red? that kid gets a lot of credit, but he had a huge advantage over 99.9% of even pros, his family could afford to buy a seven figure SECOND home halfway across the country.

umm pretty much every media source out there showing his family buying a second home on a big plot in summit county...that land alone is worth almost a million. there's a ton of videos of his house and backyard.
