Well we haven't even gotten out of the whole Iraq ordeal and it looks like Bush is already starting to piss off some more people. What the fuck his problem, why is he so prone to create enemies and why must he feel the need to rule the world?

ok, it makes me mad when kids act like it is a stupid idea to take care of this shit that is going on in the world. north korea having nukes is a seriously bad deal. and honestly, almost the entire world agrees with that, so don't act like it would be stupid to take care of that shit just because all you kiddies think it's so hip and cool to be critical of america and bush right now. the truth is, N. Korea needs to get worked over, big time, and they are going to try and take care of the situation without military action, but if they have to, it's almost surely going to be the right thing to do.

I said this before in another thread, but I think it might be worth saying again. Lets, put it into perspective. When was the last time we had a nuclear standoff? It was the Cold War. We won that war be cause the Soviets simply ran out of funds. They could no longer compete with the US's economy. North Korea is already a dirt poor country, so why would they make a move towards a standoff? I'll bet that they are going to try and use there weapons as bargaining leverage. Kim Jong is going to bully with nukes so that he can have more money. This is where it gets scary. I doubt North Korea plans on leaving those warheads idle. I'm sure they are well aware the we, the United States, can simply wait it out. Kim Jong Il is an unstable and disturbed man. That is why I fear that he may have little hesitation to use these bombs. The signs seem to point to a irrational move by TPRK. I fear that siting back may not work in this scenario.

anyone that thinks the us is going to be nuked.. there is no way a nuclear missile would ever reach our shores. we have many ways of detecting them long before they even get close to us, and blow them out of the skies. the 'star wars' program was developed in the 70's and it uses satellites to destroy nuclear cruise missiles. personally, i think saudi arabia will be our next conflict, due to all that has been gong on there.

Invading iran is a terribel idea, and i
doubt that it will happen,
but then again i didnt think we would invade iraq for a while as well.
Invading Iran would ruin all the U.S. credibility
in negotiations and would not be backed by any other countries.
North Korea on the other hands is scary,
that should have been much more of an issue,
and has been a problem for a while,
stupid power hungry leaders are scary.

I think its more that Americans are pissed because prez. bush is directly responsible for the American deaths, not necesarily that we don't care about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and the civil wars in Africa.

You do understand that neither that nor BMD will never work, right? The only reason it's necessary is to keep funds flowing into defense contractors who employ Americans. Same with the F22; the Navy said they didn't want it, but it's being built for them anyways... congress keeps funding projects, projects give contractors money, contractors give Americans jobs, Americans with jobs vote for congressmen who help them keep unemployment down... meanwhile, the military keeps building right along with the deficit. Yeti is quite funny to hear you say that Bush is good friends with the Saudis...it just shows that you are another person that was baited by Michael Moore's dumbass movie. And the Saudi's do have money invested in our economy, just like many other nations and world leaders do, but it hardly amounts to anything significant. Moore spun the numbers big time when he made that statement in F 9/11.

And skodeo to sit there and say Bush pissed off that whack job in N. Korea is absolutely moronic. All Bush said was that he did not want to have 'bi-lateral' talks because the N. Korea nuke issue is a worldly concern, and Bush wants to continue 'multi-lateral' negotiations. And maybe if the UN and the IAEA did their jobs properly this would not even be a topic of conversation.

And on a last note...North Korea does not have the range to hit us from their lands. They would have to fly in, bring a sub, or bring a boat. And by the time they made it halfway to Hawaii we would have already smoked the crap out of them.

Oh and another thing about the Saudi's. Since they are such good 'friends' with the Bush family why don't the Saudi's lower oil prices since they do have the largest controlling hand in OPEC. And also the Saudi's were pissed at us when we went into Afghanistan and Iraq. All President's have remained in good terms with the Saudi's because we need a 'friend' in the middle east, and it helps that they are sitting on top of an ocean of oil.

I highly doubt we will start anything with North Korea. I give em at most 15-20 years and they will implode on themselves with a democratic revolution. North Korea just wants attention, food, and money. They can't feed their people let alone carry out a war with anyone. At the same time, we can't occupy Iraq and North Korea at the same time. It isn't going to happen so everybody relax and chill out.

if we tried to attack N korea it would be the toughest war since ww2 maybe even harder. they are trained to kill and they have almost as much military tech as we do but they have been trained longer then our soldiers since they were like 8. the us wont attack n. korea or iran (they may launch a few cruise missles into iran) because they are too Mountainous for tanks to operate in and would therefore require largescale use of helicopters which would be expensive. and also they would be simmilar to the tora bora region in afganistan where bin landen was/is hiding out.
and the reason he's hiding there is because mountains are a good place to hide and good places to hide + a discontented population = an INSURGANCY ,somthing that the US realy doesnt like
