How long do bindings last??

Soo my skis keep falling off... if i land a steezy 1 and go onto the noses a bit they unclipse. Sometimes even in switch i lose balance tip over and the bitch falls off. I do have really hard volkls but still. Bindings are 4-5 years old marker free ten

Yep time for new bindings. I'd suggest tyrolia attacks or some Looks instead of Marker

My looks are 15 years old and still kickin. That's not the norm but it should tell you part of why people love pivots

Its time for some new binders bud. Free 10s aren't meant to be ripped super hard since they are a kids binding. As said above, tyrolia attacks 13+, Look Pivots/Rossi FKS, Solly Sth, Rossi Axial, Look SPX, etc are all great choices for a new pair of bindings. Usually an "adult" binding will start at a 12/120 din and go up from there. Attacks are some of the best bindings on the market for the price (Low stack height and very little weight) but pivots have a bombproof construction that last quite a while if not beaten to an inch of their life. Sths, Axials, and SPXs all are good bindings too and can be found for relatively cheap.

I have look pivot 18’s. If u look on evo or something you might be able to find a pair of 2016-17 ones for a cheap price

hold on here. There is a huge difference going from a kids bindings all the way to a p18. Lets start with some facts. How old are you, how much do you weight. There is absolutely no reason for a 13 year old at 140 to be on a 18 din binding. A solid 6 -12 will do the job.

Fuck that and fuck marker, don't buy squires they're fucking garbage.

OP get some tyrolia attacks or even some pivot 12s. I don't care if you're 13 or whatever but squires ar absolutely terrible.

And you’re on p18s? I mean, they’ll work but there’s no reason for you to be on a full metal, heavy binding when you’re cranked down to the lowest setting. Tbh, it’s kinda a waste of a good binder...

In reality..... Nothing. Its a good Jr binding. Not a kids and not an adult bindings. It has the aesthetics of royal fam (jester, Griffon) but all plastic and lighter spring, different heel. Its fine for the Jr skier looking for a solid all mountain binding. For what you are doing I would lean more towards the Griffon, Attack 13 or the Pivot 12. All are good bindings and will grow with you.

Im 17 and weigh 60 kilos-sry dont know how many pounds that is... And yeah pivots are pretty expensive for a cheap ass like me. Plus any europeans know the page ekosport? Lots of discounts right now. But one problem-they have quite cheap skis and binding combo but i feel like they put a rubish binding on so it lowers the price. So what im asking is whats the quality of brands like salomon and atomic...

They are all good. You can't stay in the binding business making shit product. That said there are better bindings for different applications. A 5 day a year groomer skier needs a different binding than a park rat or a racer. Get an idea of your DIN range and look for a binding that number falls somewhere in the middle of their range. Not maxed out or just register on the spring.
