What does calling tails mean in SLVSH

I was always confused by this one, they say tails 2, but it just looks like a lip 2?

Pretty sure they're referring to lip 2. Your tails go over the rails first

Yea it might have been SW tails, I've seen both

Can someone please explain the difference between blunt and tail as a grab? I swear the guys grab the same way regardless of what is called out. So confused.

Calling blunt means you gotta grab the very end of your ski.
Calling tail doesn't necessarily mean that you have to grab the very end your ski but also the edge on the side of your ski.. as long as it's not directly behind the binding.

Thanks bro! It's finally been cleared up. I used to think blunt was uncrowded tail. But this makes more sense.

There are two ways of spinning onto a rail switch: sw lip, where your noses need to go over the rail first and sw tails where you pop sw nollie and lift your tails over the rail first. "tails" isn't used for regular spins onto rails since it would be the same as a regular lip on

Pretty sure if it looks like a lip 2, its a lip 2. Going switch doesnt look like a lip 2 at all. OP didnt mention switch at all

Switch tails means the opposite of sw lip

If you saw something on slvsh that was called sw tails and you think was sw lip you'll need to show me. My guess is you mistook something for a lip slide when it wasn't.

Lip can be a bit tough to identify when you're new so here's the best definition of lipslide: you spin AWAY from the rail
