GoPro 6 Help

Hey guys! Just picked up a new Hero 6 and was just wondering if anyone who currently owns one can link me to the SD card they use? My card seems to be too slow so if anyone using a card that works perfect could help me out that would be awesome.

Just picked up a hero 6 in January, after a bit of research I was pointed towards this:

Definitely get a SanDisk or other brand name. Don't go with any Chinese knock offs for cheap. They will break and you will lose all your photos and video.

not all SD cards/micro SD cards are created equal, speed is just as important as size, probably more important TBH

on my inspire 2 I use this https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1315890-REG/sandisk_sdsqxwg_128g_ancma_extreme_plus_microsd_128gb.html

it writes data at 95MB/s and reads at 90 MB/s, but writing speed is what you need in order to make sure it can keep up while recording. Those speeds are excessive for a GoPro but its better to have a card thats overkill than too slow

I’ve necer had any issues with Sandisk extreme, but I have friends who swear by the Lexar professional.

yea Lexar is what I use for full sized SD cards, but I would steer clear of eBay/amazon for buying SD cards, it’s way to easy to buy fakes that are just labeled as legit brands on the outside. I’d stick to trusted sellers for something as quality crucial as storage
