Hello Ns

I noticed that a lot of people in the snow sports industry are very creative and motivated individuals. Whether you ski/ ride for a living or do something that ties into skiing and riding, the industry sure has a way of producing A team professionals.

In this thread we will get to know eachother a little better. So tell us!
1- What do you do to earn your daily bread?
2- Where are you posted?
3- Is there anything else you can see yourself doing? Or in other words, do you feel you could be doing more?

I’ll start,
I have a night job at a Mt Hood Ski resort, I work on the social media channels and the website. This resort has 44 social media channels and a very bad website.
I also run a part time business, making documents (resume, business plan, print ads) for individuals and organizations. On top of that I sell nutrient supplements and beauty products also to individuals and organizations. Yes I do alot, it has helped me learn essential marketing, and business skills!

It’s not a pyramid scheme, and after 3 months in Amway I haven’t seen any money lost or relationships ruined. Maybe You had a bad experience with the business but it’s like any other business, you get what you put into it. Yeah I had to put in time but it was very minimal, it’s so easy these days you can literally run it from your phone while taking a dump.

It brings in an extra $400 a month for me anyways, which doesn’t seem like a lot at first but at the end of the month i’m thankful to have that. Sure my upline gets a bonus off of that, which is Rad we both get paid and so does my downline.

Words to the wise, don’t recruit family members(just like in business or any other job, don’t work with family members aside from spouse), account for everything going in and out just like any other business, and have good posture.

Just like with business and life, for some it works for others it does not. Also just like life and business everything is 100% Optional, it’s only up to You to choose to succeed or not to.

Hi, I'm jim.

I'm an alcoholic. I tune peoples skis and I'm currently posted up in lot B at Crested Butte in my Chevy Cavelier. It's not running at the moment but it still works alright for an apartment.

The ski life is dreamy. If you ever want to stop by and drink some beers hit me up.

My dad got pulled into Amway when I was going into college. He is still kind of in it.
i can safely say it’s pretty much a legal pyramid scheme.

So one of the mtns I worked at for 4 years was mostly kids in the park. Lots of junior high/high school. Was always getting hit up by some of them about pyramid schemes.

The verve one killed me, that one pulled in everyone and had people really dead set on getting crazy rich, not trying to make some side money. It was a recruiting frenzy of join me so I can get my fucking bimmer and a huge house. My parents don't understand, everyones just jealous of my business.

Me and my sister aren't very close at all but she sells jambory nails which seems pyramid schemey although I haven't read up on it. Hosts parties to try and recruit other people for her team. My mom doesn't even use anyt of the stuff but got my mom to buy a few months worth just so she could make her quota once.

She tried to get me to do it. Like most of these I was very polite and said I didn't know anything about nails. Then she mentioned how I have a bunch of friends all over. Like yeah I still know a fuck ton of people because I'm not hitting them up trying to sell them shit all the time. Then I had to be more, I don't want to join your stupid fucking business. And she got mad because my mom told her I called it a pyramid scheme and went on some rant about how much money she brings in and how many people this, and that and I was like chill.

Pyramid schemes are weird.

I will take your advice with a grain of salt, just as I take the thousands of others who refer to it as a scam and the thousands of other accredited individuals, organizations, and websites, etc. who have seen real results from the business, and have also researched the business, only to conclude that there are no faulty practices and that everything in a N21 Business is Fair gain or loss.

Like I said, an extra few hundred a month isn’t anything special but I know people who tell me that i’m in an illuminati scheme who make less than my bonus payments the entire month.

Just like anything in life, take it with a grain of salt. If my downlines start to make more money than me (which is possible in this business, the pyramid scheme, let me tell ya) I will say that this business has been a success.

You don’t have to be an asshole to be in this business and being in this business doesn’t make you an asshole. That is all, Always A Choice That You Make.

You're so full of shit. The problem is that you have bought in (literally) and are in the brainwashed phase. Read any of the exposes online regarding Amway. They're absolutely true. Your "sponsor" doesn't give a shit about you, other than the money you're making him.

If you have any shred of self-respect, walk completely away from Amway and apologize to anyone you have roped into it. Ask almost any adult 40+...almost everyone has an Amway story. It is a universally hated scheme, which preys solely upon the stupid. You're never "going diamond," and you are making those who know you hate you...I guarantee it.

My job is so fucking unbelievable. I’ll try to sum it up by first telling you about the folks I work with:

First, there is this supermodel wanna-be chick. Yeah, okay, she is pretty hot, but damn is she completely useless. The girl is constantly fixing her hair or putting on makeup. She is extremely self-centered and has never once considered the needs or wants of anyone but herself. She is as dumb as a box of rocks, and I still find it surprising that she has enough brain power to continue to breathe.

The next chick is completely the opposite. She might even be one of the smartest people on the planet. Her career oppertunities are endless, and yet she is here with us. She is a zero on a scale of 1 to 10. I’m not sure she even showers, much less shaves her “womanly” parts. I think she might be a lesbian, because every time we drive by the hardware store, she moans like a cat in heat.

But the jewel of the crowd has got to be the fucking stoner. And this guy is more than just your average pothead. In fact, he is baked before he comes to work, during work, and I’m sure after work. He probably hasn’t been sober anytime in the last ten years, and he’s only 22. He dresses like a beatnik throwback from the 1960’s, and to make things worse, he brings his big fucking dog to work. Every fucking day I have to look at this huge Great Dane walk around half-stoned from the second-hand smoke. Hell, sometimes I even think it’s trying to talk with its constant bellowing. Also, both of them are constantly hungry, requiring multiple stops to McDonalds and Burger King, every single fucking day.

Anyway, I drive these fucktards around in my van and we solve mysteries and shit.

Wow there's a lot of cool career paths here that people have taken. Right now I work at a fusi9n burrito shop, but I'm going to school for product design as well as safety and occupational health sciences. Career wise I'd like to do something where I can incorporate both degrees, but I'm not sure what that would be yet

got it through a friend/experience in the snow industry
I make enough to have a lot of fun and break even but I don't save much.

I'm sure there will be a time when I have to get a real job but right now I wouldn't trade it for anything. dream job in a prime location

Work in Radiology at a trauma hospital in San Diego, CA. Would love to get F out of SoCal and into Colorado... Golden area.

Job is really flexible on location.. just gotta talk the breadwinner into leaving her sunny beach and 24/7 hot weather roots.
