Kinda still am on the shorter side for my age but kids never messed with me anymore when I got thrown out of a baseball game after getting hit by a pitch right in the kneecap, then I proceeded to throw my bat as hard I could against the brick wall near the dugout on my way out of the batters box. Whole school talked about it but that was like the official point kids never messed with me. This school year however I gained a ton of respect from skiing because I’d always be doing something stupid and ballsy.

robbinJAHoodWhen I was a freshman I was pressured by all my ‘friends’ into having a relationship with an upperclassmen. I thought it would make me popular and that he really liked me. He raped me on prom night, and went around telling everyone how I wanted it so bad and “practically begged for his dick.” The next 3 years of school resulted in being called a slut and that I would grow up to be stripper, while he got called a king and a legend for the amount of girls he slept with.
Looking back on these dark days of depression and hurt, I wish I would’ve told more people. I was embarrassed and scared that he would come back and hurt me again. I told my ‘best friend’ who originally pushed for the relationship, and she told me I was making it up.
Being able to talk about all the shit I went through in high school helped me to let go
