My name, most people pronounce it wrong and it rhymes with just about every foul word kids can think of. Almost grateful for it though, because after the vicious middle school years very few things offend me. Definitely toughened me up.

In elementary school I was a chunky kid that wore my big ass ski coat everyday. At recess all the cool kids played football and there was this one chunky fucker that led the whole squad and they would pick there teams and just not pick me and start playing. This led to me going and playing tag with all the girl and by the time middle school came around I already had a way with the ladys. Anyways that chunky schoolyard football captain has now been my best friend for years and we shred together daily.

I lost my front tooth when I was 4 and the adult tooth never developed because of the fall. I did not get an implant until my freshman year of college. I got a lot of shit in jr high and high school and was called pirate.

Went from a class of 50 in 6th grade, to 4x that at the middle school a town over cause our town only has k-6 so I'm naturally pretty and til recently was never to social among large crowds, always was and am short, and in 7th grade I was kinda smelly a lot, but managed to date the smoke of the grade, and not kiss her. Didn't get bullied daily but I've always been the one to be made fun of so it was constant, only respect I got was for soccer and skiing. Luckily high school was pretty kickass from day 1 though.

All this has led to my anxiety, trust issues, and being self conscious.

a few things:
- Couldnt pronounce my "th" sounds and instead pronounced it like "ffffff" well throughout elementary school, caught a ton of flak for that.

- Had these gnarly warts on my knees that i needed to get treated for every week, always had scars/bandaids/etc., this one dipshit blonde girl who was like one of those shitty popular types said my knees looked like a monster which made me cry lol.

- would always cry a lot over stuff, idk why. was a very emotional person. that never really helped in school.

- its kinda silly but when i first moved to utah and first started going to the schools here, kids would befriend you and then try to figure you out. By "Figure", i mean feel you out to see which LDS church ward you were a part of (really depends on the area, only the hardcore mormon areas like herriman/riverton/bluffdale/etc.) and once they found out you weren't mormon, they flipped the script entirely on you. Its even more fucked up because where I was living at the time (Herriman) was a 90% mormon suburb outside of SLC where everyone knew everyone because everyone went to church together, so even the teachers and principles really didnt give a fuck about any kids who werent mormon at all which gave you very little legs to stand on.

that place was just downright fucking weird, man. im pretty sure it had to be some sort of planned community by the LDS church or the polygamists, and i shit you not there was a polygamist compound about a quarter mile down the road from us. I used to ride my bike past it every day while heading to the skate park.

Fuck that place and fuck religious loonie bins like that

This kid on the bus in middle school (must have been 2002-2003) said I was gay for being in choir (I only took it because I thought it was gonna be easy and I was not at all athletic at the time).

I spent a lot of time around cute girls and sang badly. If I was as confident as I was now at the time I could have gave him shit for not being in the class.

Same. I don't think people without it can ever understand how hard it is to wake up and try to go to school like that. It was really fucking hard sometimes. I didn't lose any friends over it.....and I rarely got "bullied" outright for it because I would tell them to fuck off and I was part of the "cool" .but people staring all the time was fucking terrible and it pretty much destroyed my social life for a year or two.

Can't remember off the top if my head....but I remember taking 2 pills a day. One at morning one at night.

Shit fucked me up hard. Still have dry skin like 6 or 7 years later and i have to lotion everyday. But god damn it's amazing compared to what it would be.

I went from being a homeschooled 'nature' kid to a shitty smalltown VT elementary school where i was picked on for not having a TV, or knowing anything about horror movies. Then i went to a weird ass middle school where i was picked on for being the younger brother of my brother, who was bullied for the same shit I was. It faded once i got to HS and learned to not be a weirdo, got good at soccer, and got friends and shit. I wouldn't trade getting bullied for anything though, it totally shaped me into who I am today :)
