Well, the judges have to be able to see the riders, its been super foggy all morning.

you try to hick a 60 foot drop to pinpoint landing in a cloud. obviously never seen the weather of bcs mountain peaks. can't see shit for snow definition until it passes. don't want to see someone get lost in their run due to shitty light and kill themselves. I think fwt does it best putting athlete safety first.

My roommate is on the couch with a broken leg so I hung out and watched the steam with him for the two stops. I thought south ozone was the lesser of the two venues, but after watching, I stand corrected. Logan’s line (the massive air alone) on ozone was so sick. Truth or dare didn’t do the field justice.

Yeah, I’m drunk and don’t really know where I’m going with this. North ozone would have been a pretty dope venue.

We were all pleasantly surprised about Ozone South working so well. Not many of the cliffs had clean flat take offs so it wasn't a jibber's game. I thought Loic faired well regardless. Ozone North would have been a baller location but the euros don't want chutes in a venue (somewhat understandable) and more importantly, the FWT is hurting and needs to host it in easy access cheap locations.

Truth and dare worked better for a few people but it definitely isn't a FWT stop. Funny enough, it was skied better at the 4* FWQs we've had. Visual vs On Venue inspection isn't comparable though.

Overall, super bummed about FWT judging. It is more about who has the single biggest cliff and makes the crowd cheer the loudest than who skis the best. Super stoked to have them in town and it was a bad ass event though.
