I was rooting for ABM and Henrik on this one because I didn't like his trick selection on the rails but his run was still awesome to watch. His approach of hitting an additional rail from the side was unique and he did a fucking nosebutter tripple ...

I disagree with you on the part about his rails. Anyone in the field could copy Andris rail-run, hell, even your average Newschoolers kid could do that. Yes, he hits a rail no one else cared to use, but the railrun is slow, he does a lip on blind two, no matter how truuu that is, its rather easy. What is the point of hitting an extra rail if you are gonna kfed it? His hardest trick is a natural sw 2 front 4, not very technical either. He is a beast on the jumps and deserves all credit for his jump tricks, but I am sick of seeing him podium with basic rail runs.

Man ABM got robbed, I guess the judges didn't like his different style on the rails, I wasn't too big a fan of the foot drag thing. I hope at the olympics he does one run with the different rail tricks and one with the stock technical tricks.

Hopefully in the future the quarter is mandatory and there is speed for the final booter. I found it very interesting where everyone was hitting that. some were hitting the very end and going deep. some were going high and coming down hard and some were hitting it at the beginning and going a bit more distance.

slush8He has been open about suffering from Depression and it's the worst thing ever to suffer from. I hope he hasn't put all of his recovery into doing well at Xgames or the Olympics. Schlopy in his interview with Powell said he had made a deal with himself in 2014, either get to the Olympics or he would rather not be here and then it led to his downward spiral.
