Ye sucks to see, Gus hardly cleared that shit, it's a shame cause it's a dope feature. They're gonna be afraid to take it now, need to get the angle just spot on.

Course design is poor. SPT with the standard garbage. The poor course design and warm weather are leading to speedboat issues. Top is flat. Jumps are small and close together.

So instead of seeing good runs with new tricks we now see everyone doing what they can for speed and to get a clean run.

Can we talk about how good Tammy is in the booth? Dude can call the trick the second they hit the lip. Maybe I've been missing out but this is the first time I've felt like the commentary is actually relevant.

Gus had the best rails, 2 on swap 3 4 out , such a pity he didn't land his jumps clean. He was robbed of hold in pipe 2016, really hope he gets a gold before he retires. Delighted for Harlaut though. Sick sick run!

ABM totally got robbed but I don't think Oystein deserved a podium without a triple even though his run was real clean, Gus and Woodsy both could've podiumed IMO

The olympics don't allow branding on equipment from brands that do not sponsor the games directly (IE anyone who isn't coca cola). So Oakley comes up with hideous goggles that will stand out and then they make all their athletes wear them. They all wore bright green goggles in Sochi for the same reason, if you remember.

I'm always cheering Woodsy on and always so gutted for him when it comes to slopestyle results, he's had so many little things clinch podium spots from him. His squat outta the triple in run 2 then just getting hung on on one of the top rails run three. Could hear him screaming in frustration/anger/whatever and it really hurt. That guy is the man, Woodsy for gold in Pyeongchang

Tbh i reall dont know who to cheer for in Pyeongchang-Gus harlaut and woodsy... i have a mad amount respect for all of them. They'r all 26 yrs old and these are probably their last olympics.

Yeah for sure dude, it's an easy one for me as I'm English so it's gotta be Woodsy but I have mad love for all three of those guys

Finnish recaps from the slope course are so awful, my man called a sw dub bio a double cork and couldnt call pretzels. Also he said 1440 a 1080 multiple times and same with 1260/1620..

My heart broke too when Woodsy f'd up. He's such a genuine guy and I always love seeing him ski and judge in slvsh games

Felt really bad for Ragetli getting a 66 on his first run. At least he got the score he deserved on his next runs.

It was awesome to see multiple variations of the most difficult moves by all the guys in the finals.

wouldn't be surprised to see them all back in 4 years. theyre all still on top of the game, all insane natural talents. i had the same thought back in 2014 about people like mike riddle for example. Turns out hes going to korea and i think hes 31 now. Its going to be hard for gus since the US team is always stacked. But it might be easier for woodsy and henrik to get back into the olympics since their respective teams are not as competitive

He missed his grab on his triple, the judges we're super harsh on mistakes. We saw this on woodsy's run too, he had a sketchy landing and they gave him a 91 instead of maybe a 93-94. The real travesty is that ABM got docked for a "hand touch" on his right dub 9 lead mute, but ABM said he didn't touch the ground...

Am I the only one who actually liked Andri's run? I was rooting for ABM and Henrik on this one because I didn't like his trick selection on the rails but his run was still awesome to watch. His approach of hitting an additional rail from the side was unique and he did a fucking nosebutter tripple ...

I really liked it, he upped the difficulty on the rails and the jumps were class. Wallisch was really impressed with his run too and couldn't believe he did a nosebutter triple. 66 was way too low a score to give for his first run.

I thought Tom in the booth was awesome, couldn't agree more. a true pro narrating the sport who can throw down was pretty cool

Gus is insane on rails, he makes it look so fuckn easy!! Perfect combination of style and tech. Its madness that after that fall in pipe two wks ago (he was the top qualifyer for that event), he was then able to come back to win and podium at two slope events and be top qualifier for Xgames, it sucked to see him blow the landings on his last run when his rail line was so good. He's probably one of the most hard working and talented skiers out there.

He has been open about suffering from Depression and it's the worst thing ever to suffer from. I hope he hasn't put all of his recovery into doing well at Xgames or the Olympics. Schlopy in his interview with Powell said he had made a deal with himself in 2014, either get to the Olympics or he would rather not be here and then it led to his downward spiral.
