EClay46If you get it all figured out and decide you want to pick up that jj 116 I've got a pair of 175s, brand new, I could let go for 600. Let me know!
ThundercatDamn I need 185s, thanks tho
ThundercatHey has anyone skied the new jj? I herd that they changed the shape from the 2.0 and wanted to hear any differences people have found in how they ski compared to the 2.0. Really interested in getting some jjs and don't know if it would be worth getting the new ones compared to the old 2.0s. thanks!
Kbob94I own the new 116 jj in a 185 and honestly it’s one of the funnest skis I’ve ever owned. I feel it’s quicker and snappier in the tight trees and pow then the old 2.0 was. It floats super well in the pow and honestly I wanna make it my all mtn ski just cause I’m so impressed with how well it skis and handles everything else on the mtn besides pow. I would say it’s definitely worth getting a pair. You won’t be disappointed in them at all.
ThundercatWhat bindings do u use
tahoearmada20I ski both of this years jjs... the 185 jj 2.0 zero is more for tight spaces and touring due to being lighter and having a shorter turning radius, the 192 116jj is my powder set up this year
that being said they both rip pretty much anywhere other than ice
even though my jj 2.0 has guardians on them theyre still super fun in the park, and the 192 jj 116 absolutely rips on groomers
Greg_KBoth great skis but ARV 116 JJ is slightly better on chop and on harder snow back to the lifts.
Not sure what sort of deal you can get on the 2.0 but Backcountry.com has the ARV 116 JJ on for $559.99(20% off) and if you add to their mailing list, you get 10% off your first purchase!
