Run 1: First three skiers all crashed; Devin Logan, Annalisa Drew, Sabrina Cakmakli. Maddie Bowman put down back to back 9s though missed some grabs on her run and needs to clean up her run a little. Brita Sigourney put down a very clean run to move into first though could use more amplitude. Ayana Onozuka had a clean run with nice style but not quite the height or technical tricks needed. Cassie Sharpe put down huge run but crashed on a 10 attempt last hit. Marie Martinod finished off the first run in her final games with a stylish run but fell after landing too low on a flair attempt.
Run 2: First few riders my stream gave out on me, thanks for not being on tv in Canada! Devin Logan moves into 3rd place. Brita Sigourney moves into first with a run including some huge airs and a clean 9 and 7. No switch skiing in her run. Maddie Bowman then boosts a run with multiple 900s cleanly landed to move into first with a score of 92.00. Ayano fell on a 720 attempt last hit and Cassie seems to run out of space in pipe for her big last hit 1080. Decided not to go for it. Marie Martinod has a very smooth run to move into 3rd including a big 900 and cleaning up the flair she crashed on first run.
Final Run: First 3 skiers fail to put up any score over 51.33, which was Annalisa's highest run of her day to finish a disappointing 8th place. Brita has a massive start to her run including one, if not the, largest female pipe hit I've ever seen with a 900 clearing almost 15 feet out of the pipe. Scuffs a landing halfway down and does not improve on her second run facing a best place of silver. Maddie Bowman catches an edge and hopes her leading second run will stand up to win her 5th X games Superpipe gold. Ayana lands a very smooth 9 but crashes on a 720 attempt last hit seemingly running out of pipe wall. Cassie Sharpe puts down a smooth run with a massive left 9 to move into bronze with one rider left. Marie martinod falls on her final x games run on a huge 1080 that if landed may have won gold.
