I wish the riders would all sesh the course for a few days after the comp. No pressure, and hit some of the creative lines.

Can't wait to watch the sslope finals in an hour and change.

I was struggling to sleep so I figured I'd watch the womens slope. Now it's delayed, but they didn't announce it on the stream till it was supposed to start. Smooth NBC. Smooth

They should keep the course up after the Olympics and host a bunch of video shoots or SLVSH games. There is a ridiculous amount of room for creativity that a slope competition just wouldn't reward.

Starts in 2 hours. 1300 local time, 2100 MST (don't quote me on this). That's what I had heard from the crew working the event.
Now I see that it ran earlier, but still cancelled. I don't know, I'm just headed out to work. I can find out more when I get there.
It's going to be everyone riding in finals, 3 runs each. It was incredibly windy here yesterday, so the event was on hold. Some of the ladies were being blown a metre of trajectory while in the air.

I think it's supposed to start in 10 min now. According to the time they posted. They're really killer at updating with what's happening though.

Now I'm just watching a mix of curling and biathlon. Fuck I wish I had health insurance so I could have a script for droogs to help me sleep.

Some of the girls are getting it a bit on the rails.

The one girl had the dopest dipped 5 but something happened and she bailed and landed on her head. Then another girl just went gucci and broke. Fuck

They've got a small side for each jump. So I don't think it's too hard. Maybe speed changed or something since they're last practice run.

But that girl had a dope rail section, hope she's alright.

Yeah she had some of the better rails. Just no clue what she was going for on that....it was just scary

I don't understand how some people are straight airing the setup jump. Not even really straight air, like legit just riding off it. That's some fucking egregious shit. It reminds me of the girls entering slopestyle 10 or so years ago and skipping the rails.

Idk, I get that it's not a big jump, but do a 180 at least or even a grab. Hell even a shifty. It's the Olympics.

Anna gasser killing it! fucking 270ing onto rails, 180ing on the steup up into the rail, stuff like that.

And then double cork underflip on jump one. I hope she makes her run in run 2.
Watching her throw those in big air and slope last year from a few feet away was fucking dope.

A few other girls are getting it. The one girl boardlis through the dfd, some 27 outs.

I think in like 3 years shits gonna get legit

I'm watching the women's snowboard slope finals, WTF is going on ? I got PTSD from last year's xgames men superpipe. Like literally everyone fell on their run. Only 3 girls out of the 25 who managed to land a proper first run. Wind really seems to be a big issuethere, you can see the girls going too short or too far depending of where it blows. That really sucks for them. Also, props to Anna Gasser who sent a double.

I get that it's windy, but seriously? Some girls just riding over the A-frame...Did they even practice the smaller take-offs or the hip type option on the 2nd jump?

Props to some of the girls throwing down on the rails though - almost matching a lot of the guys runs

Easy to see it was super windy and only three of them wanted the contest to go ahead. Pretty bad of the organisers not to consult the riders before giving the green light. Really hope Women's ski slope gets wicked conditions so they're confident and can really throw down.
