We need a SKATELINE NBD for skiing

This sport needs a hyped up niBBa like Gary to make weekly news videos in the world of skiing. I'm definitely not that guy, but come on one of you step up and make it happen

I feel you but I don't think skiing has enough of a population. There's so may skaters in the world and videos drop all the time which allows Skateline to have satisfying content everyday. I personally think skiing doesn't have enough content to do weekly news videos yet. I'm probably wrong and the keyboard warriors will tell me they've fucked my mother, but this is what I think.

I actually kind of disagree, I mean it would be more interesting during the winter for sure but between things like comps, videos, crazy kids killing it on instagram, tours like taft, rail jams and big air events, I actually think it would be hard as fuck to even keep up with all the things that are going down in skiing on a weekly basis, I think it would be super cool to see.

I nominate WOODSY, STEVE STEP, or COLBY JAMES WEST. i think theres definately enough content, could show like the best tricks on slapp, this weeks slvsh game, any big videos and edits, and all other comps

I actually really really like this idea, and I actually feel like it is something I could pull off if I had the right help. I'm pretty "in" on whats happening in the industry right now, but idk if I'm with it enough to pull it off without getting totally shit on tbh. Maybe I'll go for it though. I mean interviews, different segments, comp results, all kinds of shit. I think with the right help, it's pretty do-able, and damn it would be so so fun.

I suggested Steve do this a couple years ago, thought it would be a good evolution of Trollin. but we already rip enough off of skateboarding eh?

Nah we should keep stealing from skating, thrasher and ride channel are both better than anything skiing has, besides like SLVSH which is pretty much just the Berrics of skiing anyway

Only problem I could see would be that Gary actually does talks some legitimate shit on Skateline sometimes. I doubt anyone already established in the industry would want to do anything like that, especially with how offended everyone gets at ANYTHING to do with freeskiing

Thought about it a lot. In order to do it as well as Stan or skate line you have to either be so fully and singularly invested in the effort or have a decent team behind the scenes to make it come together. Doing it proper would be A LOT of work.

That being said, it makes it very difficult for someone already established working skiing (ie steve Stepp) to start up something like this. He and others got where they are by doing what they do. Which means, I think the right unknown personality would be best to fill this void in skiing.

So to the above kid who wants to do it, go for it! Just be yourself, ask for help, consider criticism, and constantly improve.

Yeah absolutely, obviously chuck the chairlift from hell in there. I’ve been slacking on following actual skiing the past two weeks though, haven’t been on NS much
