How to waterproof a hoodie?

Recently I lost my base layer so i need an alternative, so is there a way i could dwr waterproof my saga hoodie. has anyone tried this?

You could try some waterproofing spray, but idk how that will work. Shells are cheap. Just buy one man. If you're that poor, go to goodwill or salvo because waterproofing a hoodie is super janky
