MF-HARPMyself and a mate have been looking at going to Ruka for a holiday with a big crew but this year it sadly didn't quite materialise due to money and university etc. Him and I are still looking at getting away for a bit of a park shred and maybe some urban stuff and were wondering what options there are. Had a brief look at Russia (Rosa Khutor) and some places in Slovenia and Bulgaria any experiences in these sorta spots?
Twinjibber77Slovenia all damn day! I live in Germany after spending a lot of time in eastern Europe, I had right around the same idea you did. I only made it to Slovenia, but it was awesome. Should be good this time of year and any resort in the north is a go.
I had no idea that Slovenia is a cool version of Austria!
MF-HARPHad seen a few resorts out in Slovenia! Got any recommendations after a half decent terrain park but a decent mountain in general if such a thing exists
Twinjibber77I did not spy anything but a couple boxes and small jumps. I was super into exploring and the trees out there. Let me do a google research because I don't remember the names very well.
FrankerZYou're making a mistake by coming to europe to ski park. Especially when it's near record snowfall this year.

Park_RangerThis. I found myself in Slovenia last May and it was incredible. Such a beautiful country that is part alps and part Mediterranean coast line. Really cheap and very friendly people as well.
Would love to go back. What are some of the resorts there?
ESBVogel is rad. Playful terrain, jump spots everywhere. Park minimal?
ESBBansko, Bulgaria is an interesting trip, great skiing, great food, just don't mind the British buying and developing half the town.
If you want to ski powder, go to Rosa Khutor, it's off the chain.
