Seriously considering heading out west to ski some powder, thinking its my only chance of loving skiing again. Is powder as good as i think it is? Also how hard is it to adapt to being a shithead parkrat?

don't stress yourself over falling out of love with skiing man, these things work in waves, at least for me. im sure something will turn you on again, a dope edit, a new trick you see, a sick song that hypes you up...
as with all sports, my skiing benefits greatly from a mental and physical break from it sometimes. and you wont gain anything from trying to force yourself back into the zone
but yes, powder will get you rock hard

Nope powder is the worst part of skiing. Don't come to the west, they never groom. I hate it. I miss the east coast hard pack

Good luck finding it within an affordable price range this season. It’s not that hard to adapt, but if you’ve only ever skied park all your life you might not appreciate it all that much.

You’re likely putting too much pressure on yourself in your skiing - it should be natural & a very unconscious fun. Go out to your local hill, or hell even the backyard - jam to some +vibes tunes & rail some turns. If you don’t have fun doing that then fuck
