Need a fresh park helmet

Just getting back into the park and need a fresh, low key/ low profile helmet. Hearing smith maze, but idk. let me know what yall been wearing this season

giro ledge is super low profile, hardshell, has MIPS and is affordable. perfect as a park/beater helmet.

chickengiro ledge is super low profile, hardshell, has MIPS and is affordable. perfect as a park/beater helmet.

I second this. It also fits great with alot of different goggle frames.

I got friends that rock the smith maze. I personally prefer Pret helmets better. They just fit better for me being that I have a bigger head. In terms of price the pret is a bit cheaper but I do like the smith maze.

I’m gonna get the Macon. Do you think the only difference in the bike version is there’s no snow liner/ear pads. If so I’m gonna get that one because I rip all that out anyway

If you're looking for something more winter oriented the Bern Baker has no vents on the top and is a little better for snow and the Watts can be a cheap option for mips

The snow one doesn't come with the ear pads anyways

+1 on the Giro Ledge MIPS. solid skate style helmet with removable ears and goggle clip for that goggles under helmet steeze, decent price for a MIPS helmet too.

Smith maze is one of the lightest on the market and doesn’t make your head look like an alien and it’s attractive and looks good when you take the ear pads out. However one wild card option is the Giro Combyn. It has a similar look to the park-style ledge (great helmet with mips too) but it can take multiple big impacts.
