Fischer Ranger Vacuum Boots

So I can grab a pair of the Ranger 12 thermoshape boots on the cheap, but was wondering (if any of you know) how they actually perform, bc all I'm reading is that they're "very confortable while still performing very well", which makes me just think they're for 50 y/o dudes who think they send but want a cushy boot...

did you check out Blisters' reviews on the ranger and rc4? They pretty much love the tc4/ranger shell, though some find them a bit cold and the plastic potentially is not the toughest out there (some have issues with cracking). I own a pair of rc4 130s and quite like em. The only difference between the rangers and rc4s as far as i know, are the insole (more cushion for the ranger) and the color.

I havent used the rangers, I know people that have and they love them. I think Ahmet's brother has a pair and he rips. I use the RC4 (same thing without a walk mode really) and they are the best boots in the fucking world (understatment) Id say send it.

If they fit they fit. But I do not agree with their "one boot to fit them all" approach and the vacuum process is one of the biggest gimmicks since the parabolic skis.

I’m on my second pair of ranger 12s and really like them for a resort boot that I can put on at 8 and wear all day and sometimes well into the evenings. I did upgrade the liners with intuition wraps and got custom footbeds. At day 95 and around 2 Million vert this season but my feet and shins and calves have never been happier.
I’ve never raced or liked tight stiff boots, so if that’s what you’re after the look elsewhere. My only hangup w rangers is no tech conversion, but that’s in their marketing for 2019

I have one of the only fischer machines in my area at my shop, so I see/sell them all the time. great boot.... if it fits. Easy to mold, and super easy to punch.... but find the fischer shell that matches you best first. Only problem I see is that they crack, but fischer hasn't denied a warranty yet.
