My new clothing line

The XL is very big because it is long wear. I plan on having bigger sizes in the next run.

where do you get your wholesale shirts? do you print yourself? how long have you been doing this. I once posted my images i have been printing on shirts for a couple years and got bitched out on ns, be careful

It's the internet, people hate everything. If it's something you really want to do, go for it. Some people end up posting some pretty good advice in threads but you can still take it with a grain of salt.

I personally have way too many shirts and just boxed up a ton of them to downsize. Bought a couple new flannels but that's it.

People buy shirts though. If you make the right stuff for the right price, and find people that dig it.

NS and clothing lines is interesting. At one point everyone and there brother and mom was starting a tshirt company on here. A few made it, most died as quickly as they sprang up. I remember 1 more recent one where the people were sewing upside down pockets on shirts and trying to get 10k for a fucking gofundme to produce them in china or something.

So if people give you shit about shirts, that's probably why. It doesn't mean don't sent it though. If you think your stuff will sell go for it. What's the worst that could happen?

My shirts are completely handmade. I picked out the material, my manufacturing plant sews the garment together and then stitches in the care tag and labels. No wholesale shirts here. I then pick up the shirts and bring them to a print shop in Columbus, Ohio and that’s the finished product.

I have been months in the making. From prototypes to getting a trademark cleared this stuff takes time. I appreciate any support you guys give.

I REALLY don't like the bottoms. Yeah the material looks super comfy, but the bottom of the shirt is a style that needs tucked in and looks retarded if it isn't. Like a pajama top you forgot to take off that got smashed into a dress shirt bottom. Nice picture of Mansfield prison, but the shirt bottoms are driving me crazy

Honestly, I'm probably not the target audience for this brand but those are pretty ugly. I respect the effort and the fact you have a pretty well designed website, but the whole seam down the back thing looks like a women's shirt from behind. Also, this style of shirt with extra fabric at the bottom seems pretty played out and I've always disliked it. I live down the street from a men's wear shop and frequently go past it when I'm walking somewhere, granted I've only been in there once and left immediately when I realized they were trying to sell a shirt for $60, but I remember seeing these style shirts in the window almost 3-4 years ago. As feedback from a pretty normal guy when it comes to clothes (staples include flannels and jeans/chinos) it kinda seems like you're late to a trend and most people aren't gonna spend $50 to be a part of that.
I'd say cut out all the fancy/trendy shirt bullshit and just make a clean looking longsleeve with some original artwork or graphic, and still market on the USA made point.
Below is an example of a pretty widely praised (at least within NS community) clothing operation that was once doing business from a Newschoolers thread. I've always thought craftsmanship will yield results, not just trying to get your slice of a trend.

its nsg, i'm not entirely sure what you expected if you've ever been in here before.

buuut, they do have a point. Upside down V on the bottom of the shirt isn't cool, I can't see that catching on. I like the fact that they're tall, with discrete logos, and not super loud colors though. I'd say try and do a run with a less bold bottom and I would probably get one depending on how tall they actually are.

before i clicked on that link, i tried to picture in my mind what kind of clothing NS would support... baggy, oversized shirts with graphics and logos in a solid color on the front, perhaps some edgy hood logo shit that looks like from the early 90's...

Was not dissapointed.

If you want to sell that product rework the entire website and get rid of all of the unattractive photos (that means all of the photos you have up now) and replace them with attractive new photos of women wearing the shirts. Those are the kind of shirts that are popular with people that want to cover up their butt when they are wearing tights and that's mostly going to be women.
