It's the o'l what camera dilemma

So, my camera gear got stolen last week at Loon. Looking to upgrade to a mid-range/semi-professional body. All of my gear got stolen so there's no old system to go with. I've been looking at Panasonic g7/gh3/gx7 but anything that can take pretty good pictures and video, probably 70/30 video to photos. Thanks in advance. Oh, and I would need something with an external mic input and possibly a cine-like picture profile. Unless anybody knows a way to mount a sound recorder to a hot shoe and have a shotgun mic ontop of it?
