They should be adjustable to fit touring boots but doing so is far easier with the 2018 ID bindings which have the AFD (anti-friction device) adjustment screw at the front of the toe piece so that height can be adjusted with the boots locked in. Older models have the adjustment screw on the back of the toe piece, under where the boot goes be.
