Marker Griffon 13 Bindings and WTR Soles

So I have a pair of Marker Griffon 13 Bindings from 2016 and was wondering if they were compatible with a WTR sole (a touring boot)? I know that the new 2018 Marker Griffons are WTR compatible but I don't know how far back that goes in model years. Any help would be much appreciated.

They should be adjustable to fit touring boots but doing so is far easier with the 2018 ID bindings which have the AFD (anti-friction device) adjustment screw at the front of the toe piece so that height can be adjusted with the boots locked in. Older models have the adjustment screw on the back of the toe piece, under where the boot goes be.

To but it simple.

It will fit. But your dins and forward pressure will not be correct.

Only the new ID is certified to work with wtr soles.

So it comes down to. How much do you want to risk your knees.
