Sketchup issue

theabortionatorHaven't used it much the last 6 months. Haven't really used it much in 2 years actually. Downloaded some features to build with but it's super fucked and slow, even after restart and with no other programs running. Anybody have any thoughts?

Last time I used it, I noticed all the shit I had accumulated from the "Warehouse" was really killing my performance. I deleted the waste and it seemed to help. That was also a good 6 months ago. Other than that I got nothing.

Just a heads up, ever since Trimble purchased Sketchup they've really been cracking down on professional/recreational licensing and usage. I'm not saying you are doing this, but Ive seen cases resulting in HUGE fines for folks using the free versions to produce drawings that end up fabricated in a professional setting.

I work with Tekla, Trimbles Engineering/architecture Building Information Modeling software, and I have a feeling they are pushing the issue because they want more people to spend $30k on this product instead of Sketchup. Crazy how that particular software has evolved.

I think the fact that I downloaded this year could be the issue. Saw some stuff that other people that got it in 17 had issues. Forgot i bought a new laptop.

I have and continue to run an older version, and I might even have the one older than that. I figured it'd get fucked up the longer it exists. Mine's 16.0.something but I kinda want to see if i have the even older version around since that never even asked you about licenses and was less annoying.
