OP, if you get Kingpins you have to note that they are only compatible with touring boots so they are probably not a great choice, plus, they are $600+. If you want a touring binding but aren't sure you should not go with a pin tech binding as they are really not recommended for inbounds use. Get a frame binding if you think you'll be touring, the newer dukes are a great choice as are the barons, the difference being that dukes go up to 16 DIN while the barons stop at 13. If you think you need a 16 din binding, you're probably over 200 lbs and hucking some big shit because 13 is high enough to ruin more than one knee for most people. Other frame bindings that have been reviewed highly this year are the tyrolia adrenalin and solomon guardian so those would be good to look into.
Everyone has been recommending the jesters but you haven't stated your weight or skier type so don't listen to them. People like to shit on marker griffons (essentially the jester's little brother) but most people haven't even ridden them. Griffons are a solid option for 95% of skiers. If you are 200lbs+ and hitting massive cliffs I'd say otherwise, but they are $130 less and probably more than enough binding for you. Look Pivots are nice but slightly more expensive than the Griffons plus the brake is non-changeable so if you want to put them on different skis you can't. What is your weight and what types of shit are you skiing?
