Where the snow at?

What did some of us do to offend you mama nature? Can we have a bit of snow? I think some of the Southeast would be down to trade weather.

Anybody have any tips on witchcraft, voodoo, snow dances, sacrifices, etc to change the luck?

Montana got pounded but that seems like about it as far as the west went.

Well I actually took a job in Tahoe last year but my car broke and some douche gave my job away. Apparently he quit mid season anyway. Was a decent winter in Aspen last year. Also aspen is stuggling hard atm as well.

Oregon and Washington got good snow in spots but i dont have time to get up there. If utah gets a dump Ill visit the peoples.

I remember you talking about your car. that sounded pretty rough.

Its always nice to have options and with slc being only 7 hours its pretty easy to rip over there.

Barely hanging on at Ski Bowl on Hood, I can see the MTN Bike Trails now clear as day, the alpine slide is also popping out making for a nice jib. We were able to have our annual rail jam tonight at least and Timberline our friendly neighbor, letting us ski there with our employee passes.

Don't come to oregon haha. Hood is getting strip teased by mother nature and Bachelor is a fucking wasteland. Hoodoo and anywhere southern have only seen rain.

A couple weeks ago it seemed like some of Oregon and a bunch of Washington was getting nuked. Well maybe just some spots. Also had some friend go up before xmas and hit a bunch of fresh everywhere.

Take your best skis and cut them into little pieces with a band saw. Destroy the bindings with a sledge hammer. Then burn your season pass. Works every time.

BC interior powder highway. Or south of the border; northern half of Washington, Idaho, and Montana prolly a good bet. No where south of that.

That's rough. Def gotta invest in more ponds(unless it's just a super fucked drought. If you can't make snow you're fucked these days. Natural snow is hit or miss.

Heavenly got like 6 inches. Rode 2 days ago and then northstar yesterday who had like 4. Also all the rocks in pinball were covered for the first time in weeks.

I'm heading out to Utah in about a month. Temperatures seem to be hovering around freezing at the resorts that I'm looking at. Hopefully the snow gods have some mercy during the next few weeks.

Yup me too. A little nervous but there's a storm lined up later this week. Hopefully it turns around soon. Sometimes big droughts end with big storms. Kinda regretting not heading somewhere more north, as we debated between Utah and elsewhere...

Someone mentioned east coast. FYI rain in the forecast again within the next week. So much for all that snow we just got...

I was stoked as it was snowing pretty good as I left Bachelor about 1:30ish.
By this morning the Mt got squat.
Still been plenty of kinda like snow to ski on though.
Today was a fog fest.
Pray for snow in the PNW!

There seems to be a very narrow band of moisture in the westcoast this year that's been hovering pretty much in central and southern BC and northern washington, idaho.

Nearly this entire season within this band of moisture has been largely good snow, but immediately south of that it's been nothing but warmth and rain. To the north of the band, very dry and very cold. Then kind of fans out across into the rest of canada and the us.
