Re drilling skis

I got a pair of new full tilts to replace my Solomon boots, they’re the same exact size but the sole or base of the boot isn’t the same length and is to small to fit into my binding, am I just dumb or do I need to get them redrilled

Your heelpiece will slide to fit within a size or so either way. You can probably watch a YouTube video if you can't figure it out, or pay a shop like ten bucks and know it's right.

I forgot to mention I know how adjust my heel piece but it won’t move forwards enough

It comes off the track when you try and get them tight

Then yes you need to re-drill the binding....not a huge deal but it kinda sucks.

General rule of thumb is you don't need to worry until 3 mounts on the ski. Though, each mount destroys the resale value if that matters to you.

Just make sure who is redrilling doesn't drill holes in a line perpendicular to the ski... unless you want to break skis more easily.

you can't go back to front, unless you want to double dip. the girl risks getting an infection if you go back to front without cleaning first. be careful
