I just bought some replacement FKS brakes to go on an old pair of FKS 180s, rather than bending the original to fit. This is what is included. I was wondering if there is was proper way to attach the new turntable?
The black pivoting arms with the screws is what attaches to the rest of the heel piece. It's pretty straightforward, be careful to take your time backing them off and out and then screwing the new ones on not to crossthread them. Screw them on evenly on each side, don't just crank one side down then move to the next you want them to be the same so your pressure will adjust correctly from there on out.
Have a shop do it? wtf this is NS it takes 30 seconds.
OP screw off the black caps on the stems then unscrew the orange part on your old pair by clicking it into engaged position then unscrew the stems (same ones the adjust forward pressure then put on your heel din housing to the new brake.)
