Arv 106 vs. kartel 108

Get kartels the arvs will not last long. I just had a pair of arvs and they lasted 50 days until the edge started delaming. The kartels will last you longer than that, plus they look better.

Delaming=delaminating. This refers to the different layers of a ski coming apart, such as base from core or topsheet from core, not edges. I think what you mean is your edges started pulling out. Not that it matters and everyone knows what you mean, but just fyi.

Armada's customer service is just as good as any smaller brand haha Sometimes even faster as they have more available reps.

Armada's a great brand with good customer service. So is on3p. However, on3p is known for durability

both great skis but id go with armada unless you get a deal on the kartels

Also on the Armada train, especially if you're going to be venturing out of the park much. Kartels felt much damper (which is amaze if buttering is your jam), but I liked that the ARVs can really hold at high speeds - imo.

I can't really comment on the ON3Ps as I've never skied them, but everyone on NS seems to jizz over them like they're the best thing since sliced bread. So they must be good. From what I've read the Kartels are stiffer and better at higher speeds and charging through tough stuff. People also say their durability is better. If I had known about them before I bought the ARVs, and had the cash, I probably woulda bought them.

I have the ARV 106's (mounted at recommended) and they're still a solid ski. People say they're more flexible and playful than the Kartels. I've taken them in everything so far except >12" of snow (groomers, packed powder, BAD east coast ice, powder, moguls, and tight trees). They hold up well for what I've skied so far. They're decent at higher speeds and have a little tip flap, but that's kinda expected with the rocker tip profile. They feel great in the air and landing. The edges are quite thin which is annoying in terms of durability and future edge life. They are quite durable from what I've found. I hit a stick with the tip of my ski that was poking out of the ground vertically in glades and it stopped me dead in my tracks. I flipped forward and ate it. Surprisingly, there wasn't a mark on my ski. I will say that the top sheets are soft and scrape super easy because I have so many nice scrapes without much of a reason to. Also for whatever reason the edges rust SUPER easy. Must faster than any of my other skis and I store them the same. Usually only see minor rust after summer storage, but these skis are like non stop if you don't immediately dry them when getting home. Within

Honestly should've went with kartel 108s i have the magnus's two sets of kartel 98 and i ride hard and everything this was after two days use such a bummer to see armada not warranty and lost 600 bucks do to premature delaming and the pivots lifiting out of the ski i will never buy another set of armada's

They are cheaper skis for a reason... Better durability than Line tho.
