Depending on what type of groove you're looking for, the entirety of D'Angelo's Black Messiah album is excellent. Lots of Vulfpeck's stuff is really groovy and slow jammy. There are a handful of beat makers who produce these super mellow kind of dreamy atmospheric beats that I've been really into lately. DM me if you're interested and I'll send you a playlist. Some of the artists in it are Mt. Marcy, Wush, Instupendo, and Harris Cole. They're all cool, but Mt. Marcy and Wush make probably my favorites. Mt. Marcy has this LP called Sorry that's super nice.

If you're looking for introspective music to help you feel grounded and calm, I really like rappers like Milo & Open Mic Eagle. They're often referred to as art rappers, and I really dig their stuff. Milo's entire discography is great.

I realized that most of my prior recommendations are like R&B type stuff. Is that what you're looking for? Or are you looking for more like indie / acoustic / singer-songwriter stuff?

Me neither. Last I saw them was bonnaroo 2012. There were a shit ton more people than the like 12 when they played all the venues in toga troy, alb etc. Always stoked when locals make it, but was hoping they'd play the gfalls civic center or something for a hometown show.
