what a retarded analogy, he went through a location known to see a lot of suicides, filmed some guy's dead body showing a shocking lack of piety even for his standards, laughed about the whole situation and then shows the video to his hordes of 12 year old fans, but I guess that's close enough to "evening news" for you?

He literally made jokes about it in front of the dead body. He also said what if kids walked up to this and decided the first thing he should do is post this to YouTube where 95% of his viewers are 12 years old. And he filmed the dude from so close for so goddamn long and only blurred out his face but u could see everything else. So yeah I think there’s reason for outrage.

His audience is primarly kids! Anywhere from 8 upwards. How would you feel if your younger brother loved Logan Paul and saw a dead body hanging from a tree with only his face blurred out and idiots around the body laughing. Or how about the kid/teen whose family member or best friend has committed suicide? Not to mention the family of the person who died.

No news outlet would go up and film a dead body hanging from a tree and broadcast it on television. (With the exception of a war atrocity and even then might describe it instead of show it)

Anyone with any sense of decency should be angry about what he did

While I disagree with all the people that are outraged just for the sake of being outraged, this isn't an appropriate comparison.

In the evening news you don't have a reporter wearing a Yoda hat go up to a dead body and go " OH MY GOD LIKE WHY ARE WE EVEN HERE BRO?? GUESS THAT TOOK A BAD TURN LOL. YA EVER BEEN THIS CLOSE TO A DEAD GUY BEFORE??"

Besides that, what he did was pretty insensitive. It's pretty much desecrating a person, as well as trivializing suicide. This Issue is compounded by the fact that he has a massive audience of young, impressionable kids. I wouldn't be surprised if that age group had seen more of paul then the news.

Not only could this video affect someone with suicidal tendicies, you're teaching a large group of children that suicide is a joke. It's something you react to. Something that's okay to joke about 10 ft away from a victim and post on YouTube.

It's not a joke and if you need help. Get help.

Don't get me wrong here people, DO I think the guy is a tool box, YES. Do I think what he did was in poor taste, you bet cha. What I have a problem with is the Internet calling this guy out for doing what he does. What he was wearing aside, he went there to make a point and missed the mark royally. OK move on. The dude is 20 years old, has way more money than sense and makes dumb ass videos for more money than I will ever see. Does he get a pass, no but treating the guy like he is the NY times editorial staff doesn't jive. Look, I'm a parent, I have laid to rest 3 good friends from suicide. This is not a light topic. Expecting this dumb ass to get it right is not the answer. Then acting all high and mighty....... How about monitor what your kids are watching on YouTube? How about having a conversation with them about what it means and how this will effect them and the choices they make from here on out.
All this is, is a form of internet trolling and bullying. (I can't believe I just stated that) Lets all learn from this instead of ripping a moron apart. I think the dude gets it.

I think this was very well said. The problem is I’m just not sure he really does understand what he did wrong and him and his brother continue to make stupid mistakes that any person with common sense wouldn’t make. Even his apology was self centered and insincere. It’s also impossible to trust the many inept parents who have no idea what they’re children are really watching. I think it’s for that reason why everyone is continuing to bash him but I agree, it’s unnecessary because I just don’t think that moron will ever learn no matter what we do.
